COVID-19 Autumn/Winter Booster Eligibility

Get vaccinated this winter! COVID-19 affects older people and people with certain underlying health conditions more significantly than the rest of the population. For these reasons, people who fall into the following categories will be offered the COVID-19 Autumn booster vaccination (please note the eligibility criteria has changed from previous years):

People aged 75 years and over
People aged 6 months to 74 years who are immunosuppressed
Residents of care homes

If you are eligible, you will be contacted by your GP surgery. You should be offered an appointment between 1st of October 2025 and 31st January 2026. You are able to book your vaccination by contacting your GP practice, using the National Booking Service website or by calling 119.

If you are turning 75 years of age before the 31st January 2025, you will be called for a vaccination during the campaign; you do not have to wait for your birthday.
