Help shape local healthcare
Our Patient Participation Group (PPG) gives patients an opportunity to share their views and help shape the development of services across the Moreton & Meols and Wallasey Wellbeing Primary Care Network.
The group brings together patients and PCN staff four times a year to discuss ideas, share experiences and work together to improve local healthcare services.
Your experiences as a patient can help us better understand what is working well, where improvements could be made and what matters most to our local communities.
Why get involved?
Joining the PPG gives you the opportunity to:
- Help influence how local services are developed and improved
- Share your experiences and feedback
- Represent the views and experiences of other patients
- Help identify priorities for our practices and local communities
- Learn about changes to primary care and local health initiatives
- Work alongside patients and healthcare staff to improve services
You do not need any medical knowledge or previous experience — your perspective as a patient is what matters.
Who can join?
Anyone registered with one of the nine GP practices within our Primary Care Network is welcome to join.
We want the group to represent the different communities we serve, so we welcome people of all ages, backgrounds and experiences.
Whether you have a lot of experience using healthcare services or simply want to have a greater say in how local services develop, your voice can make a difference.
How often does the group meet?
The Patient Participation Group meets four times a year.
Meetings provide an opportunity to discuss local healthcare, share feedback and work together on ideas that could improve services for patients.
