COVID-19 Spring Booster Eligibility
Get vaccinated this Spring! COVID-19 affects older people and people with certain underlying health conditions more significantly than the rest of the population. For these reasons, people who fall into the following categories will be offered the COVID-19 Spring booster vaccination (please note the eligibility criteria has changed from previous years):
- People aged 75 years and over (or turning 75 before 30th June 2026)
- People aged 6 months to 74 years who are immunosuppressed
- Residents of care homes
If you are eligible, you will be contacted by your GP surgery. You should be offered an appointment between 13th of April and 30th June 2026. You are able to book your vaccination by contacting your GP practice.
If you are turning 75 years of age before the 30th June 2026, you will be called for a vaccination during the campaign; you do not have to wait for your birthday.
